PyTorch Community Meetup Mbarara

The PyTorch Community Meetup Mbarara brings together students, researchers, developers, and AI/ML practitioners for the first PyTorch community gathering in Mbarara, Uganda.

Hosted by the PyTorch East Africa Community and co-hosted by the Mbarara University Computing Students Association, the meetup will feature technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking around PyTorch and open-source AI.

Topics will include PyTorch, machine learning, and its broader ecosystem, including Ray, DeepSpeed, vLLM, and ExecuTorch, exploring distributed training, LLM inference, and on-device AI.

The event is open to anyone interested in learning about PyTorch, sharing their work, exploring career opportunities, and contributing to the growth of the open-source AI community in Uganda.
