DataFrame.max()

Return the maximal of the non-null values for each column.

Examples

>>> import torcharrow as ta
>>> df = ta.dataframe({"a": [1,2,None,4],
                        "b": [5, 6, None, 8]
                        })
>>> df.max()
index    a    b
-------  ---  ---
    0    4    8
dtype: Struct([Field('a', Int64(nullable=True)), Field('b', Int64(nullable=True))]), count: 1, null_count: 0
