Writing a custom timer server/client
--------------------------------------

To write your own timer server and client extend the
``torchelastic.timer.TimerServer`` for the server and
``torchelastic.timer.TimerClient`` for the client. The
``TimerRequest`` object is used to pass messages between
the server and client.
